I’m going to prelude this blog with the fact that it will be very vague, because I don’t think I’m legally allowed to give specific details, nor do I want to give specific details because privacy is one of the most important things to have, and I’m not about to take that away from someone. Today
In an attempt to continue my project of recording who or what made me happy that day I am going to recount who made me happy today. Continue reading “Today”
[Day 42] The Meaning of Life
Speech and debate pretty much consumes my life. Everything is so… empty without it. I love the people, the events, and the overall feeling that comes with it. I am a narcissist, so hearing my own voice is always nice, I am argumentative, which is helpful for debating, and I am dramatic, which is great for my second event, poetry interpretation. Continue reading “[Day 42] The Meaning of Life”
[Day 41] Morgan stop pressing the keyboardq
What did you do for fun back in elementary school? From what I remember, most kids played four-square, tag, or just climbed around like monkeys on the playground equipment. There is one common theme among these games that might not be evident at first, but try and think of it. I’ll wait. What’s that? Oh, you give up? Don’t worry, it’s perfectly natural. I would have given up too. Continue reading “[Day 41] Morgan stop pressing the keyboardq”
[Day 40] No Such Thing
Dear NYU Admissions Team,
I’m not actually going to send this letter to you, for fear of your rejecting my application as it comes in. But I wanted to thank you, in spirit, for making your supplement for the Common App so much fun to put together. Continue reading “[Day 40] No Such Thing”

[Day 38] Lost in Stereo
When I fall down, I laugh. When I run into something and bruise myself in some way, I laugh. This could be a result of higher levels of testosterone in my system, which is unlikely because I should have seen more radical symptoms by now. So the only other thing I can think of that would have caused this behavior is my upbringing. And by ‘upbringing’, I mean “one and two year old Bri running around the house with her dad tripping her as she runs past and then she laughs and starts running again”. Continue reading “[Day 38] Lost in Stereo”
[Day 37] Staplegunned
You know one thing that just grinds at my nerves? When people apologize excessively for no reason. Ok, fine, if you feel bad about getting my attention, apologize once and get it over with. I get it. You’re sorry. But if you keep telling me so, then I’ll give you something to be sorry about. Continue reading “[Day 37] Staplegunned”
[Day 36] I read the news today, oh boy
Jeans shopping is the devil. Not only is it difficult to find pants to suit my body figure (big butt, small waist), but I’m also plagued with the responsibility of an overweight body, and that isn’t fun to shop for. I always favor the jeans a size too big, and if I outgrow a pair widthwise, they’re going to Goodwill. I was never confident in my ability to lose enough weight in order to warrant my keeping of old jeans. Continue reading “[Day 36] I read the news today, oh boy”
Proposing an experiment of gratifying results
Its prety simple, and it take just one week, here is how to do it.
