[Day 227] MY FACE STILL HURTS

I was going to make another video for today’s post, but then realized that I have been pretending that my jaw/entire lower face doesn’t hurt all day and have been singing and such. So more talking is probably not in my best interest. Especially when prom is next weekend, I have a gross yellow bruise on my lower jaw, and I really want my face to stop hurting soon. Best not to aggravate the wounds. Continue reading “[Day 227] MY FACE STILL HURTS”

[Day 225] TMI

Many of my teachers seem to have this disorder I like to call “Too Much Information-itis”. The symptoms are as follows: unnecessary discussion of personal life, detailed revelations of personal physiological disorders (sickness and other, more prevailing diseases), inappropriate student interaction (ie. quoting the “Hangover” or joking about marijuana), and/or emotional breakdowns during class. [Day 224] Hamlet was a joke

I want to go to A Very Potter Sequel in Michigan in May. I can’t, obviously, but it’s a nice thought.

I also want to be able to go to school tomorrow without looking like a fat, chipmunk faced 14 year old. But we can’t have everything we want.

I didn’t want to get behind again, but obviously, as it is late and I have to go to school tomorrow, I can’t make this post very good. Sorry. I’ll do better stuff next week.

[Day 223] Some Pre-Bath Thoughts

I'm so sorry you have to see this.

So it’s been a little over a day since I had four large teeth removed from the far corners of my mouth, and I must say, several doses of oxicodine and ibuprofen later, I’m feeling quite surreal.

Not surreal in the “I’m so high on pain meds” way, because I’m much too drowsy for that, but surreal in the “I’ve been watching movies and sleeping for over 24 hours and my head feels funny” way. Continue reading “[Day 223] Some Pre-Bath Thoughts”

[Day 218] A Blast From The Past

I thought it would be fun to revisit Ash, the fantasy novel I wrote back in 7th grade. Before you read the excerpt below, here’s some context.

Sunny Dijon Larkson, our main character, is 13. Her parents were murdered on her fifth birthday, and the man who murdered them has made his reappearance by kidnapping her friends and remaining family (four brothers). At this point in the story, she has followed the man (she calls him “Loony” because he’s insane) to where he is keeping her relations, and helped her friend Marcus escape. Unfortunately, they are caught, and Marcus is shot. A mysterious group called “The Council” steps in to save Sunny, and she is now in their care. Continue reading “[Day 218] A Blast From The Past”
