Today I had originally planned on giving you a highly introspective post on old friends and the evolution and maturation of relationships, but instead I’m going to whine about my week because I’m exhausted and I still have Congress stuff to do.
Monday: Watch Battlestar Galactica. Borders at 10am, wrote 9 blogs, scheduled 8 for next week, when I will be in Kansas City for debate nationals. Worked on some Congress stuff. Went rockclimbing with local organization for mentally disabled kids. Watch Battlestar Galactica.
Tuesday: Watch Battlestar Galactica. Borders at 10am. Finished up Congress stuff (although it turns out I was only half finished). Went to friend’s gym and worked out harder than I have since freshman year. Watch Battlestar Galactica.
Wednesday: Watch Battlestar Galactica. 10am Borders, met with other two Congress debaters to split up more Congress stuff. Find out that I have a lot more work to do. Stay until 2:30pm, then go home for half hour before leaving again for bake sale. Stay at bake sale from 3: 15-6 in 98 degrees weather. Write a letter to Bart, brainstorm for Congress. Meet ex-boyfriend Mike and his new girlfriend for dinner, as they were in town visiting from Ohio. I decide I like this new girl, we have a good time. Go home, watch Battlestar Galactica.
Thursday: Watch Battlestar Galactica. 10am Borders, do more Congress stuff. Meet Rachel for lunch at 12, then go back to work on Congress at Borders. Stay for another hour or so, go home. Feed animals. Meet Megan at her house, spend an hour at farmer’s market, then work out at her gym. Go home, watch Battlestar Galactica.
Friday: Watch Battlestar Galactica. 10am Borders, mostly finish Congress stuff. I plan on leaving around one ish, hopefully, as it is noon at the moment. I will then watch Battlestar Galactica and pack for nationals. Then I will help my brother feed the animals and meet the other two congress boys at their coach’s house at four to do some practice speeches and go over stuff. Then I will meet Megan at 6 or 7 at rock climbing and potentially go running afterwards. Then I will watch more Battlestar Galactica.
I can’t wait for next week to be over. Hope you all enjoy next week’s theme and tomorrow’s 300th Bri 2.0 installment! Watch my Twitter block to the upper right of this post for sarcastic comments regarding nationals and my continued obsessive BSG commentary.
Now back to work.
