To yet again stem an attack on myself by The Bri, I decided to blog today instead of yesterday because our baseball team had our first league game today, and I wanted to blog about that.
So like I said, it was our first league game, one of 10. This one was against our second most hated rivals, but we still pretty much hate them. It was a very close game at first, we actually were down early because our bats weren’t very lively. However, we fought back in the 4th inning with 3 runs, tying it 3-1, where it stayed until the 7th when we tacked on 3 additional runs and that’s how it stood. The 6-1 victory felt good, we played with a lot of heart. Our next game is next Tuesday night, this time against our biggest rivals.
So our league is pretty good this year, with atleast 3 or 4 solid teams. We definitely have a good chance to take league, but that’s only if we play well. The talent’s all there, we just need to play smart and play focused. That’s all for now, we won tonight!!!
