I am simply trying some new things with themes. Thoughts on this one?

[Day 95] Downslide
Last year, I helped my high school newspaper create a website, and I am still the primary webmaster. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and hope that whoever the webmaster is next year can continue to maintain it.
This year, today, actually, I created another website, for the school literary magazine. I like making websites.
[Day 94] Happy Blog Week 1
Last week, I joined the resurgence for our school’s literary magazine. At that first meeting, I promised to create a presentation for website options, a submission email address, and a new poster design. You’d think that with speech and debate in full swing, newspaper deadlines bearing down, a 130 point portfolio due, a psychology test, a government test, three political blogs a week, and four lit term definitions/examples a week, not to mention blogging here every day and trying to finish my novel, I would be a bit more conservative with my time, but no. [Day 93] Let’s do 21 first
Whenever I go to the Chinese place in the mall, I forget what kind of rice I like. See, I like the white rice with my food, but I don’t get a choice between “white” and “brown”. The people there call them “steamed” and “fried”. And I always feel bad if I say “the white one” because that wasn’t one of the choices. Continue reading “[Day 93] Let’s do 21 first”
[Day 91] Love’s in my heart like a bomb
I went back to my old elementary school today, to volunteer with a fifth grader avidly interested in technology. Liking to think myself as a technology buff, I was quite excited to pass on my knowledge to the younger generation. I felt like I was pretty hot stuff. Continue reading “[Day 91] Love’s in my heart like a bomb”
[Day 90] Wowzerz
When I was a young’n, I had a friend named Mariah that lived down the street from me. I quite liked Mariah; she was interesting and knew people who were older than us (we were six). Continue reading “[Day 90] Wowzerz”
[Day 89] Names and Stories
Dear Apple,
If it wasn’t for your technology, my stunt of perpetual wakefulness would have been much more unpleasant. Because if I’m not sleeping, the next best thing is to be jamming to my lime green iPod on a bus of exhausted, freezing debaters with a puking coach in the front seat at two in the morning, watching the torrential snow, and cowering from the windows that just wouldn’t shut.
Love,
Bri
PS. Sorry guys, I haven’t slept for more that three consecutive hours in three days, and I spent literally 12 hours of yesterday and today in a bus, as described above. Video and new blog coming tomorrow.
[Day 88] Star Kid
[Day 87] I wouldn’t either
At the moment, I am sitting across a cafe table from this girl who is telling me a story about this girl she hates. She’s quite animated, and even though I don’t particularly mind the girl she’s talking about, I find myself captivated by her stories. We are so completely different, and yet we get along really well. I’ve mentioned Celsey, the girl who is talking, before, but I’m going to go a bit more in depth today. Continue reading “[Day 87] I wouldn’t either”
[Day 86] Baby, it’s fact
I am regretful as I struggle to keep my eyes open to write this blog. Common sense tells me that I need to go to bed and rest, but my dedication to this project compels me otherwise. Continue reading “[Day 86] Baby, it’s fact”
