Game Night!
I swear that the only substance I consumed that night was a chocolate milkshake. I was very, VERY tired.
The Paper Crane Ninja
So on Wednesday morning, our digital imaging professor sent us out around campus for an hour to take pictures that we will then learn how to edit next week. I had grand plans of going all over campus, but my first, and what turned out to be my only, stop was behind the science buildings, over by where the greenhouse and the fountain are. It’s an area not many people go to, since there’s only one or two buildings there and it’s kind of out of the way for most students, but it’s gorgeous, and I knew I’d find some good shots. Little did I know that I would also find the most bizarre/inspiring scavenger hunt ever. Continue reading “The Paper Crane Ninja”

First day jitters
No big blog today, since my Mondays are chock full o’ classes (4!!). I was lucky that my 8am photography class got out about an hour early today (it being the first day and all) so I figured now would be as good of a time if any to whip up a quick post. I can’t promise how blogs are going to work out for the first few weeks of the semester, as I find myself busier than expected, but I will make an effort, I promise. This Thursday you’ll get my Cribz: Junior Edition video from our new dorm, which should be fun, and hopefully we’ll start cranking out Cooking with Gandalfs again soon. Lots of things coming up on the website, so BE EXCITED! Continue reading “First day jitters”

Fall 2012: Classes and Expectations
Remember that time I wrote a blog at the beginning and end of last semester, talking about my expectations and final thoughts on my classes? That was cool. I liked that. So I’m gonna do it again, since tomorrow I leave Colorado again for my junior year of college! Continue reading “Fall 2012: Classes and Expectations”

HOW TO: Make the Most of Your Dorm Room
Let’s face it; when you move in, your dorm room, whether it’s your first or last year of college, looks like a partially furnished mental prisoner’s room. It’s hard to make it feel like home when you know you have to move out in a year, and you can’t repaint or install shelving, but that’s where I come in. Today, you’ll learn how to make the most of your dorm room, temporary as it is. Continue reading “HOW TO: Make the Most of Your Dorm Room”
