Hey look, another blog written hurriedly in between rounds at a debate tournament. I was going to write my review for “The Wedding of River Song” for today, but I didn’t have enough time to truly process it yet and I really want to watch it again. In the meantime, if you’re really jonesing for an opinion on the episode, head over to Kyle Anderson’s guest blog on Nerdist. It’s an interesting perspective, and I’m still working out whether I agree or not. Caution: spoilers. Continue reading “Materialism, makeup, and the modern woman”

Cough cough hack hack
So I’m in Washington, DC right now, nursing a newly cropped-up cold, stealing more wifi from the lobby because, seriously, why would I go all the way down to the lobby to use free internet, or pay $10 to use it comfortably in my bed? That’s ridiculous. What is this, Fairfax Marriot, 1994? Sheesh. Continue reading “Cough cough hack hack”
TheseFolk: Lost in a city of books
Edited entirely on the flight to DC, uploaded entirely on the stolen, free hotel lobby wifi from my room’s balcony.
Dedi-freaking-cated
So I’m writing this post in my wifi-less hotel room on my cell phone WordPress app, because I promised I’d post on schedule this week. Everyone else on the debate team is downstairs, either swimming or, for those of age, having a pre-tournament beer.
Oh, did I mention I’m in Washington DC until Monday night for a debate trip? Because I’m totally in Washington DC until Monday night for a debate trip. At first, I was a little apprehensive, since I’ll miss three days of class, but now that I’m here, I’m glad of it. If only to reinforce how much I really hate the east coast. No offense, but the west is where it’s at.
It’s ten pm and my eyes are glassing over and all I want to do is sleep, but I owed y’all SOMETHING after my shoddy and sporadic posting as of late.
Ok. Headache and exhaustion are settling in, so it’s time to go to bed. See you on Monday! (or Sunday, if I’m able to upload my thesefolk vid)

The Girl Who Waited: Handsy robots and heartbreak
I should have written this post the minute I watched this episode. Nothing in this blog can measure up to the emotion I felt after the first viewing. Nothing can ever reach that level again. Holy crap. Continue reading “The Girl Who Waited: Handsy robots and heartbreak”
So I guess I don’t suck at ceramics anymore [an apology]
Since I’ve been as reliable as a cheating husband lately when it comes to blogging, I thought I’d bring you a blog FULL of pictures (which, you can admit it, is much more fun than a texty-text blog). Then, Wednesday, I’ll write for you (finally) my “The Girl Who Waited” review (hint: I loved it), and on Friday I’ll write my “The God Complex” review (after I watch it, which, as of right now, I have not). I know that 2 DW blogs in a week doesn’t really cut it for a lot of you readers, but it’s better than nothing like last week, right? Right?? I at least brought you two videos.
