In an attempt to keep up my blogs about what made my day great I’m going to tell you about today.
Today was an odd sort of day. The kind that you get up in the morning and then about the time you go to be you actually wake up. It was great though, I drove to school hating to cold and not feeling too great about the day. I got there and told my friends about my favorite irony of the week. I ate my food, and then I saw a friend.
Now, typically seeing just any old friend isn’t a big deal for me. We exchange comments or jokes or insults, laugh, and part ways. Today though, I saw a friend I’d just worked out a rough patch with. The thing that made it great was that everything just clicked, it was like nothing had happened.
After this made my day I went to class, which was quite fun. And, again to class. The second being the one I actually have fun in, and today being no different. Until, that is, I remember that I’ve forgotten and counseling appointment that I had scheduled. Though being a minor setback in my state of happiness, this did not completely off me and I drove home in quite the ecstatic mood.
Upon arriving, I was assaulted with questions and various other forms of harassment about why I had missed my meeting and other school related drivel. AT this point I started to think that today would be one of those days that was great until you realized it was great. But, alas I went back to school and saw that same friend. And, what do you know, she makes my day all over again.
Then accounting, and being in a good mood the days work seemed light and quickly floated away as I powered through the hour and a half. Texting all class was helpful.
And then, the Piece de Resistance, the release. Powering away from the school in the Mercedes with some of my favorite music blaring and the windows down with the sunroof open. The cool breeze cutting through my hair.
