I do. I really do. And since coming to college I have dressed up every single year, managing somehow to alternate the gender of the characters I portrayed. On February 20th, 2011, I posted my first video on a collaboration YouTube channel called “TheseFolk.” Me and thirteen other people found each other on a forum website, and we split into two channels- TheseFolk and ThoseFolk, each with 7 people, or one person per day. The idea was that we would all agree on themes for everyone in the channel to make videos on, and everyone would make one video a week. Those Folk stopped posting around June or July of that year, but TheseFolk, well, here we are, nearly three years later!

Unfortunately, though, we have to end our active posting as well. We made it a long ways, but we’re all adults now, with incredibly busy schedules. We didn’t want to just peter off, though. We’re going out not with a wimper, but with a bang. 1. Yash- yes, an agreeing word
2. Yok- Okay, acceptance word
3. Jonacavanara- Exclamation, happy, expressing happiness
4. Shnookums- bad word
5. YASHY! – Excited way of saying “Yash”
6. Yashy? – “Huh?” or confused word
7. Duppa Doo- “sure thing” or exclamation
8. Duba Duba- as in “you did the wrong thing” or “shame on you”
9. Oopaties (Pronounced OOpatEES)- oops, uh oh, mistake word
10. CHUBBA DUBBA DOOPY! – Excited in the best possible way, aside from being YASHY!
11. Yumba Dumba- “yummy” or “this tastes good”
12. Jeeper Dee-dees- “Yikes” or the instance of being scared
13. Yarsh- Bored
14. Yamish- Hello, Hi
15. Yabo- Bye
16. Chump- Food
17. Yalla pop- Music
