Blehblargh sorry this wasn’t posted earlier. I was up all night sweating and blowing my nose all over the place, then woke up at five with a fever. Which was, you know, lots of fun. So let’s just say I spent the day watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch, She’s All That (which was tremendously awful. The things they passed of as plot development and dialogue…), and rereading Questionable Content archives. Clearly, not a lot of time for writing bloggities. [Day 290] Teeshirt week 1: Russel’s Teapot
This is my second most recent tee-shirt purchase (the first one is tomorrow’s shirt), which I bought on the internet here. It’s basically a picture representation of a philosophical theory regarding religion, called Russell’s Teapot, made by 20th century philosopher Bertrand Russel in 1952. Continue reading “[Day 290] Teeshirt week 1: Russel’s Teapot”
[Bonus Post!] Jason Mraz wrote me a letter!
Someday, I hope he actually reads it. 🙂
[Day 289] Single (Original Song)
There might possibly be another song next week.
[Day 288] I’m so lonely I fall in love with my characters
So it’s 1:30 in the afternoon and I’m in my local Border’s cafe area taking a writing break. I suppose it’s not really a writing break since I stopped writing in Eugenia to write this blog post, but whatever. We all know I’ve been losing my mind for a while now. (On an unrelated note, Bubbilicious gum individual pieces are HUGE. I just popped on in to keep my coffee breath at bay and now I feel like I’m chewing two pounds of cud.) Continue reading “[Day 288] I’m so lonely I fall in love with my characters”
[Day 287] Musings on Music
I’m not a musician. Merriam-Webster Online defines it as “a composer, conductor, or performer of music; especially instrumentalist. I think we can all agree that this definition does not fit me. I am, however, a writer, and sometimes I do find myself writing what some people may consider songs. Continue reading “[Day 287] Musings on Music”
[Day 286] The Museum of Modern Crap
While in Paris, my grandmother was especially keen to take me to the Pompidou Museum of modern art, because she felt it was more my kind of thing than the Louvre. (Yeah, it definitely was. The Lourve was big, old, and boring. And all of the paintings were of Jesus! Nothing against Jesus or anything, but sheesh, isn’t there anything else to paint??) I’m a fan of impressionism and Van Gogh and things of that nature, and although I’m not big on Picasso some kinds of abstract art and cubism are pretty interesting. However, though some of the things in the Pompidou were really neat, I was dismayed at what has become called “art”. Continue reading “[Day 286] The Museum of Modern Crap”
[Day 285] Travelblargh
I’ll post an art rant tomorrow. I doubt I’ll make a video because I won’t be dressed the entire day. Not like naked, but wearing PJs. And stuff.
Oh. My. GOD. I hate airplanes.
Sorry.
