The Start of Something New

Sorry about not posting yesterday, I was busier than expected after possibly the busiest week of my life. Also, we had our first forensics tournament Friday thru Sunday at Lewis and Clark College, so that took up most of my time. The “I’ve Got Goals” Slam

I don’t have time to write a blog, but I thought this would be a good time to post the videos of my performances from our school slam club’s first poetry slam. I got to read twice (meaning I made it to the semi finals), so here at the two poems I chose to do. They’re both new as of this month, and there are a couple f-bombs, but nothing too bad. I went to the Portland Poetry Slam again last night and actually made it to semifinals there too! It’s been a good week for poetry.

“Dear Liam Aiken”

“Optimus Mack”

It should be noted that I’d never performed either of these poems before. Ok bye.
