Classical Rock

So I’ve become more and more attracted to music, specifically rock music, that uses historically classical or “big band” instruments in this newer genre. I think putting a grand piano-not a keyboard-, a violin, full orchestras, or trumpets in rock music is really neat.
If you’re interested in this kind of stuff, here are some songs to check out:

Butterfly by Jason Mraz (trumpets)

Any Yellowcard song (electric violin)

Any Something Corporate song (piano)

Any Jack’s Mannequin song (piano)

Nine in the Afternoon by Panic! At The Disco (piano/ string orchestra)

There’s a Reason These Tables Are Numbered, Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought Of It Yet by Panic! At the Disco (piano)

Also, if you like acoustic music like me, check out the CD Punk Goes Acoustic. It’s excellent.

What's up, my dudes?
