So I’m sick today. It is Wednesday. I do a music blog on Wednesdays. And I just found something that is awesome, music related, and has no mention of Jason Mraz. Do you see where I’m going?
The only time I ever watch TV is when I’m sick and I’ve used up the internet as much as I can handle. Today, I didn’t feel like vegging out to Hannah Montana. So I start -gasp- channel surfing. And what do I find? This beautiful thing called Fuse. Do you know what this is? I didn’t. But now I do. Fuse is a channel about music. Only. Music. I’ve already watched four Weezer music videos and two Paramore ones. More Paramore is coming up. I think I’m in love.
Also, Weezer is weird. They have some good music, but… their music videos kind of freak me out. If you know me or have read my early blogs…. that’s kind of a big deal.
Speaking of early blogs… I’m glad everyone likes the new site! A makeover just in time for our three year anniversary!
That’s a long time, three years. Three years ago, I was 14. Now, I am 17.
Three years ago, I was finishing up eighth grade. Now, I’m watching the end of my junior year in high school float by.
Then, I wrote about how cheese will take over the world. Now, I write about human rights and politics and music.
Then, I’d never been kissed. Now, I’ve gone through two boy friends, a few heartaches, and several missed opportunites.
Then, I wore geeky glasses, braces, and had frizzy hair. Now, I wear contacts, my teeth are straight, and my hair is layered.
Three years ago, I was a yearbook editor and everyone hated me. Now, I’m an editor in newspaper… and everyone still hates me.
Three years ago, I didn’t know who I was. Now, I still don’t know who I am, but I do know this: I am not alone.
I went to my first concert tonight!!! It wasn’t a “real” concert in certain ways, but it had a very well known singer who released an album yesterday!!! It was way cool, he had an amazing voice!
What “well known singer”?
No idea, some big Christian singer
Wow! Thank you very much! I always wanted to write in my site something like that
