(Sing today’s blog title to the tune of “let’s get physical!”)
Now, let’s get serious.
I’ve made a list of things I want to accomplish this summer, one of which being to blog twice a week, at least. I’m really sorry about the stagnant nature of the website that has become constant in the past few weeks. The end of school was my most challenging to date, but fear not, I finished admirably. My final grades on ParentBridge as of now are:
Newspaper: A+
AP US History: B+ ( I was SO CLOSE to an A!)
Spanish III: B (Surprisingly enough. I was sure my final was going to bring it down to a C)
Humanities: A (In case anyone cares, I got 100% on that “Humanities: The Sequel” video I posted on the site a few days ago)
AP English Language: A-
So my final sememster of my junior year of high school ended with a 4.0! According to my calculations, my current overall GPA is 3.958, which is SO CLOSE!! With my 3 AP classes next year (Lit, Gov, Psych) and hard work, I should be able to regain my 4.0.
But no one actually cares about that but me, my parents, and Pacific University.
Now let’s get to my summer goals:
1. Blog twice a week
2. Exercise three times a week
3. Meteorology (finish!)
4. One YouTube video a week
5. Outline new novel for next year’s “WABIAY†Club
6. Read Atlas Shrugged
7. Sample college essays
8. Send out queries to 3 agents
9. Write at least fifty pages in “Cafeteria Scholars†(I wrote 2186 words today!)
10. Write one poem a week
What are your summer goals? Write them in the comments!
And in case anyone is interested, Jason Mraz posted an excellent blog the other day. Here is the link.
Chris Hardwick also has a bunch of great blogs under the category “Unsolicited Advice” that I find very inspirational. Link is here!
Finally, my song of the day is “Break Even” by The Script
In other news… SHAME ON YOUR CALIFORNIA.
Finish my 15 minute movie and be proud of it
Make Singles in Tennis
Chill…
Atlas Shrugged is a pretty good book 🙂
Oh, just the usual. End hunger, travel the world, attend church. bleh.
BTW Please send me that email that tells us how to post a blog. Or at least sign in, ’cause I’m itching to right, and I’ve just decided that I cannot do that without this website.
