What is Love?

Baby, don’t hurt me. [too late] Fun fact: my high school’s graduating class of ’09 used that song for their graduation song. Thoughts? I think it’s dumb.

One thing that makes me warm and fuzzy inside is the availability of nifty applications called “love calculators”. They allegedly measure the compatibility between you and someone else, based off of names alone. I find them extremely fun.

Compatibility:

Bri and Liam Aiken: 57%

Bri and Jason Mraz: 66%

Bri and Bruce Banner: 61% (if you don’t know who this is, you are a lame person)

Bri and Chris Hardwick: 35%

Bri and Scarface (I used his real name in the calculator): 65%

Bri and The Maker: 74%

Bri and OGOMAS: 27%

Bri and Aardvarki: 79%

I’m sorry for the half-arsed blog today. I need to post something but I’m really not in the mood, so yeah.

I’ll make up for it in suggestions:

Song of the day: Right Now by Nappy Roots

Book of the Day: My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Color of the day: Black

Quote of the day: Remember that catchy phrase I won’t worry my life away? For the first time in my life it’s manifested into something more than just a concept. Worry is what happens when we create meaning in a way that brings us down and it’s usually about an event that never really happens. If a dog bites me, I might worry that it could happen again. But that’s me worrying about a dog bite that has yet to happen. It’s me holding on to being bit by a dog. My future is full of dogs biting me. Get it? Therefore, the power in saying a dog bit me has more freedom and truth than saying, “Dogs don’t like me,” which is a worry filled statement.

  1. 66% with Jason Mraz…. Bri…. I hate to say it.. but that sounds more like a divorce gavel than wedding bells 😀
