Every month I’m going to start reflecting on what I’ve learned from my experiences. That way, I’ll have a better handle when I get to the year mark, and reflecting and self analyzing is good for the soul. Continue reading “[Day 30] I’ve Learned: Month 1”

[Day 29] My throat is burning
I am out of shape. I’m not going to try and sweet talk my way around this. I am so out of shape I pant walking to class. When I go up the short flight of stairs in my house, I have to talk really fast and pause a lot afterwards so no one can hear me gasping for air. Yes, my dear (2) readers. I am THAT out of shape. Continue reading “[Day 29] My throat is burning”
[Day 28] There’s a party at the end of the world
I love that it’s 7:34 in the morning and something good already happened. Every week on Fridays, Jason Mraz’s Twitter asks for fan questions, and then on Mondays (or in this case, Tuesdays) he writes a blog post with 12 of his favorite questions. I’m sure you can already guess why my day’s so good. 🙂 Continue reading “[Day 28] There’s a party at the end of the world”
[Day 27] Stalking Liam Aiken
(If you didn’t catch the allusion in the title, I’m parodying “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”) I’m not sure why I’m on such a Liam Aiken kick lately, but I have plenty of fun stories so don’t complain. One of my favorite memories from the stalking years (grades 6th-9th) has to do with his band, however. Continue reading “[Day 27] Stalking Liam Aiken”
[Day 26] I can’t live with or without you
I’m not a big fan of what my best friend considers “chick rockâ€. Most musicians I listen to have male vocalists, with a few notable exceptions, and you have become one of these notable exceptions in the past few weeks. Continue reading “[Day 26] I can’t live with or without you”
[Day 25] Senior Pictures and laziness
[Day 24] The Claw of Knowledge!
I have a hard time relating to girls. It’s nothing short of dumb luck that Rachel and I connected the way we did. But ever since meeting her in kindergarten, I’ve never kept a female friend for more than a year or two. I think it might have something to do with either my unquenchable tomboy attitude or the fact that I act too masculine at times to be able to relate to most girls. Continue reading “[Day 24] The Claw of Knowledge!”
[Day 23] I’ll be monitoring your frequencies
Last week, I talked briefly about some issues I was having with my alleged harshness. A similar incident occurred today, although with different people. The first time, my primary issue was with someone in charge of me. Today, it had to do with people I was in… command of. (Don’t judge me for that… I just saw Star Trek for the fourth time) Continue reading “[Day 23] I’ll be monitoring your frequencies”
[Day 22] Feel the chemicals collide
Last year for my birthday, as some of you might remember from my YouTube channel, my friend Craig (Adventure Captain Pants) got me some interesting presents. Among these strange but pleasing gifts was the epitome of everything that is amazing and creepy in the world; a large grey trench coat. Continue reading “[Day 22] Feel the chemicals collide”
[Day 21] I used to be love drunk, but now I’m hungover
In 2006, a band came out with an album. I found this band through the MySpace profile song of a friend that I’d never actually met. After that initial listen, I knew what I must do. I said to myself, I must buy this album. So I did. This band is called Boys Like Girls. Continue reading “[Day 21] I used to be love drunk, but now I’m hungover”
