Patterns

It seems to me like the motivation for living is to be different than everyone else. Through our experiences, we’ve seen other people crash and burn and ideas fade away and innovations fail, and we want to make sure that doesn’t happen to us too. We want to find our own way of going through life and our own way of making decisions and have our own identity and believe that yes, if we try hard enough, things CAN change. You CAN be different.

Well, when I take a good long look at life, it seems like everyone ends up falling into the same patterns and making the same mistakes and utterly fail to learn and grow from the past.

That’s not our fault though. No matter how much you believe you can be different and special, things just seem to happen that throw you in the same pile of FAIL FAIL FAIL as everyone else.

I’m depressed, I admit. But you know what they say…the more things change, the more they stay the same. How can you truly break out when your very nature is working against you?

I can’t.

Have a good day.

What's up, my dudes?
